Sacramento Critical Mass

Once a month you may have noticed a large group of cyclist around Midtown. These cyclist are part of Critical Mass, a group-bicycle ride around the Downtown/Midtown Sacramento area with the goal of showing a cycling presence in urban areas.

El Día de los Muertos

Zocalo provided a respectful observance of a Día de los Muertos or “Day of the Dead” (see Day of the Dead History) this past Nov 2nd. This is a holiday commonly celebrated in Hispanic culture in both the United States and throughout Mexico.
